Privacy Policy
SK Telesys (hereinafter referred to as ”the Company”) cares about your personal information and abides by the laws regarding “Information and Communications Network Use and Information Protection”. The Company provides you with why/how/which of your personal information is used according to the privacy policy. Also, the Company informs you of the measures taken for personal information protection.

Any changes in privacy policy will be noticed on the website or delivered individually.

This policy is effective from February 12, 2010.

01. Items of Collected Personal Information
The Company collects the following personal information for sign-up, consulting, service registration, etc.

The Company uses the collected personal information for the following purpose(s):
To follow the service contract and provide service payment contents
To manage registered members – Personal identification, prevention of unauthorized and illegal use of information by members with malicious intent, and delivery of advertising information and marketing events
03. Personal Information Retention and Use Period
After the personal information collection and use purposes are achieved, the information shall be deleted without delay. However, the following information is retained in the stated period for the reasons below.
  • - Retained information: Name
    - Retention reason: To make sure a real name is used for the website services
    - Retention period: Until membership withdrawal
  • - Retained information: Gender
    - Retention reason: To have membership gender statistics
    - Retention period: Until membership withdrawal
  • - Retained information: Log-in ID
    - Retention reason: For a menu that can be used after log-in.
    - Retention period: Until membership withdrawal
  • - Retained information: Password
    - Retention reason: Necessary for log-in. The password is encrypted and is not to be deciphered
  • - Retained Information: Home phone number, mobile phone number, and e-mail address
    - Retention reason: For notification of marketing events
    - Retention period: Until membership withdrawal
  • - Retained information: Social security number
    - Retention reason: To prevent multiple sign-ups and check whether the member uses a real name. The second part of the social security number is encrypted and not to be deciphered.
    - Retention period: Until membership withdrawal
  • - Retained information: Cookies
    - Retention reason: To use cookies for services including surveys
    - Retention period: Cookies are used only when necessary and deleted within a day.
04. Personal information disposal procedure and method
After the Company fulfills its personal information collection and use purposes, the information is disposed of without any delay. The personal information disposal procedure and method are as follows.
Personal information disposal procedure
The personal information provided to the Company by a member is moved to a database, saved for a certain period—refer to the personal information retention and use period in the privacy policy—and destroyed according to the privacy policy and information protection law. The personal information moved to a separate database is not used unless the law requires.
Personal information disposal method
Personal information electronically saved in a file is deleted in an unrecoverable way.
05. Personal information provision
The Company does not reveal the personal information of members to anyone. However, there are exceptions:
- When you agree to reveal your personal information to other Companies
- If there is a formal request from an investigating agency.
06. Consignment of collected personal information
The Company may consign personal information in the following ways for service improvement:
- In the case of entrusting the processing of personal information, the Company will notify you in advance through the website about the fiduciary, the period of consignment, the relationship between the service provider and the fiduciary, and the range of responsibility
- In the case of entrusting the processing of personal information, it is necessary to strictly follow the instructions of the service provider regarding the protection of personal information through consignment contracts, confidentiality of personal information, prohibition of third-party provision and liability at the time of accident. We will clearly specify the return or destruction of personal information and keep the contents of the contract in writing or electronically.
07. Rights of Users and Legal Representatives

Once you request for your personal information to be corrected, the information is not used by or provided to anyone until the correction is done. In the case where wrong personal information was found to have been delivered to a third party, the corrected information will be sent to the third party immediately.
The Company will treat personal information that has been terminated or deleted at the request of the user or legal representative as described in "03 Personal Information Retention and Use Period". Once personal information is deleted, it is prohibited from being viewed or accessed for other purposes.
08. Installation, operation, and rejection of automatic personal information collection device
The Company does not operate any tools that collect cookies or any other personal information that could be created automatically while you use the Internet.
